Xiu Fine Cantonese Dining

It's been a while since I had Chinese food this good!!! The restaurant is well designed - really gives off very sophisticated, elegant vibe, and it is finely matched with attentive service and high quality food! I was a guest for someone's birthday celebration meal. I didn't choose what to order, but what was served, everything was delicious and well done. The "basics" were done right - Yang Chow Fried rice was fluffy (not hard or clumpy). Birthday noodles were exceptional. Peking duck -crispy skin, tender meat, the pancake/wrap was also easy to handle and does not stick to one another. Looking at the menu, the food looks pricey, it may be best to dine here to celebrate a special occassion or just enjoy company of family and friends. This is Chinese (Cantonese) food done right. Definitely one of the top Chinese restos on my list now.

Hou2 Sik6!!! (That's 'delicious' in Cantonese. Cause it really is.) Had the Peking Duck and it was wai5!! (Might as well stick with the theme right). Loved the duck wrapper - thin so actually taste the duck more than the wrap. Plus the price wasn't too bad - P3,600 for a whole duck. That's ok right? Haven't had sosyal Peking Duck in a while. The minced pork string beans were also excellent and obviously sosyal. Everything else we ordered was yummy and sosyal tasting too!

We had big time hesitations about this place, after all it said fine dining,but we took the chance amd thankful we did. The restaurant was bright,clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The staff were very polite,helpful. Kudos to the manager named Ryan,checking up on us if we enjoyed our food. The food was large servings,delicious,clean to the palate,presented well. Although pricey but everything is nowadays. But with the portion servings I think it wasn't so bad. Will definitely come back. Maybe try the dimsum lunch. By the way..the Buchi was the best I've tried..kudos to the chef..and the rest of the team.good job.keep it up.

A satisfying Chinese meal must have the right combination and flow of the various dishes. This we got in Xiu. Portion sizes of were generous for their suggested set menus for 12. Peking duck was beautifully roasted, rock lobster with cheese perfectly done although maybe we should have chosen cooked with superior sauce and efu noodles instead of cheese noodles which were very bland. Steamed garoupa a little tough (tad overcooked). Steamed crabs with garlic smd vermicelli 👍. The second way of the duck Minced with lettuce wraps was too too salty. Fortunately we fit into a private room (only good for 12 max) because the main dining was wilder than a zoo with childrem shouting and running around creating such a din🫨

First time at Xiu for the second leg of a Chinese-Filipino wedding bash that I attended. It has sophisticated vibes and has legit Chinese cuisine. It is my first time trying a lot of legit Chinese cuisine. They also offers unlimited drinks and a full-on course meal had me thinking I wouldn't get full 'cause, you know, fine dining. But guess what? Ended up stuffed! Course after course, from apps to desserts.

Very nice interiors, well decorated from the ground floor to 3rd floor. This is the place to celebrate occassions or family gatherings. Plenty of parking too across the street. Given the ambiance, I expected that the service will be topnotch too, but I guess its just ok, acceptable. We tried a lot of dishes, all of which tastes good, but some items didnt meet expectations. My best picks are: pork shrimp siomai, radish cake, black sesame buchi, birthday noodles and tofu w/ mushroom. Other items are okay except For the Charsui pork - the sauce didnt feel right to me. Overall, still a pleasant experience and will definitely be back
